The Heartsaver CPR AED course trains participants to give CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Includes Student Workbook. Once you have successfully completed the course and passed the skills test you will receive your completion certificate (2 year certification). WHO: The AHA Heartsaver CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: Describe how high-quality CPR improves survival Explain the concepts of the Chain of Survival Recognize when someone needs CPR Perform high-quality CPR for an adult Describe how to perform CPR with help from others Give effective breaths using mouth-to-mouth or a mask for all age groups Demonstrate how to use an AED on an adult Perform high-quality CPR for a child* Demonstrate how to use an AED on a child* Perform high-quality CPR for an infant* Describe when and how to help a choking adult or child Demonstrate how to help a choking infant* *optional NOTE: Our current booking system, will allow you to tentatively register for a date and time. You will receive a confirmation from Thirty and 2, once your selected date and time have been accepted. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience. Once your selected date and time have been accepted, you will receive an email that will include an invoice. A deposit of $35 to hold your date and time will be due within 24 hours. If your deposit is not received or another client reserves that time, your registration may be canceled. Your balance due for the class must be paid in full 48 in advance of the class.
