Service Description
The Heartsaver CPR AED course trains participants to give CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Includes Student Workbook. Once you have successfully completed the course and passed the skills test you will receive your completion certificate (2 year certification). WHO: The AHA Heartsaver CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: Describe how high-quality CPR improves survival Explain the concepts of the Chain of Survival Recognize when someone needs CPR Perform high-quality CPR for an adult Describe how to perform CPR with help from others Give effective breaths using mouth-to-mouth or a mask for all age groups Demonstrate how to use an AED on an adult Perform high-quality CPR for a child* Demonstrate how to use an AED on a child* Perform high-quality CPR for an infant* Describe when and how to help a choking adult or child Demonstrate how to help a choking infant* *optional NOTE: Our current booking system, will allow you to tentatively register for a date and time. You will receive a confirmation from Thirty and 2, once your selected date and time have been accepted. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience. Once your selected date and time have been accepted, you will receive an email that will include an invoice. A deposit of $35 to hold your date and time will be due within 24 hours. If your deposit is not received or another client reserves that time, your registration may be canceled. Your balance due for the class must be paid in full 48 in advance of the class. Cancellation Policy
Deposits must be made to hold your date and time and complete registration. Remainder of course fee must be made 48 hours in advance of class. If payment is not received, registration may be canceled. And you will need to reschedule. Deposits are non-refundable. You may reschedule one time without penalty and your deposit will be used to hold the new date and time. We know life happens, If you need to reschedule please give a us a call and we will do everything we can to help. If we cancel the class, you will receive a full refund of your payment and deposit to us. Please note all classes taken online through American Heart Association are separate and there is nothing we can do regarding any monies paid to AHA. If you are 15 minutes or more late you will need to reschedule your class. No-call/No-show deposit and payments are non-refundable.
